“I had ended a relationship with somebody who was not ready to have children. I never knew whether when he was going to be ready. I was also on the cusp of I’m 37 years old, and I had recently frozen my eggs. But even with frozen eggs, I started thinking about, the prospects of potentially meeting a new mate. I thought, I don’t want to be in a rush to have a baby with somebody just because I want to have a baby, I want to be with somebody as my partner, because I love them. And sometimes love takes time to develop and often doesn’t coincide with your biological clock. Many people are lucky and have that. I happen to be in circumstances that it didn’t work out.”
