“One of the things that I had to do as a mom of boys and I have all boys, I don’t have girl children — I learned that I had to increase my tolerance for movement, for noise, for chaos. Please note that this does not mean I had to constantly live in noise, mess and chaos. We had boundaries. We had a safe place where I could go and be surrounded by quiet — aka my home office. But, I needed to increase my tolerance because these were who these humans I was living with were. They needed space to move, to experiment and they needed room to be who they were and have that be accepted and encouraged.”
